GDETO exchanges views with trade The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong (GDETO) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government today (December 16) organised an exchange session in Shenzhen with over 50 heads of Hong Kong's trade and industry associations. Deputy Director-General of the Economic Affairs Department and Head of the Commerce Office, Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR, Mr Yang Yi; Deputy Director-General of Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Guangdong Province, Mr Yang Hongshan; and officials from the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau and Trade and Industry Department of HKSARG also attended the meeting. The event serves as a platform for chairmen and presidents of major trade and industry associations from Hong Kong and the region to engage in discussion on a range of issues. At today's session, participants focused on the latest situation with regard to Hong Kong enterprises operating in the Mainland and their views on the policies and supporting measures promulgated by the HKSARG and the Mainland authorities.
