GDETO exchanges views with trade

The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong (GDETO) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government today (February 1) held a luncheon seminar in Shenzhen attended by more than 50 representatives (pictured) of Hong Kong's trade associations and professional services providers. Also attending were the Deputy Director of Shenzhen Qianhai Management Authority, Mr Zhou Ziyou; the Secretary-General of Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, Mr Liu Xiaochun; Vice Mayor of Fang Chenggang Municipal People's Government, Guangxi, Mr Jiang Xiuqian; Under Secretary for the Financial Services and the Treasury, Ms Julia Leung; and officers from Department of Justice, Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau, Trade and Industry Department. The event serves as a platform for chairmen and presidents of major trade and professional services associations from Hong Kong and the region to engage in discussion on a range of issues. Today's session focused on the implementation of Qianhai policies and the provision of international arbitration services in the Qianhai area. Participants also shared views on the policies and supporting measures implemented and yet to be implemented in the Qianhai area.
