GDETO exchanges views with Hong Kong members of Shenzhen CPPCC

The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong (GDETO) today (July 12) held an exchange session in Shenzhen, attended by over 30 Standing Committee members, Hong Kong members of Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC), officials of Shenzhen Municipal Government and GDETO. The Director-General of Hong Kong, Macao, Overseas Chinese and Foreign Affairs Committee, Shenzhen Municipal Committee of CPPCC, Ms Mao Xiaobei; the Deputy Director-General of Hong Kong, Macao, Overseas Chinese and Foreign Affairs Committee, Shenzhen Municipal Committee of CPPCC , Mr Bao Xiaochen; the Director-General of Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of Shenzhen Municipal Government, Ms Tang Lixia attended the meeting. At today's session, Director of GDETO, Mr Alan Chu briefed the meeting on the work and organisation structure of GDETO, as well as services it provided. Ms Mao Xiaobei briefed the meeting on the thematic research conducted by Shenzhen Committee of CPPCC, and Ms Tang Lixia gave a presentation of "Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurial Base". Participants also exchanged views on the business environment in the Mainland, issues of concern to Hong Kong people, strengthening co-operation, and enhancing services to Hong Kong residents and businessmen in Shenzhen.
