FS attends SmartHK opening ceremony in Guangzhou
The Financial Secretary, Mr John Tsang, today (August 28) attended the opening ceremony of SmartHK in Guangzhou.
Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, SmartHK provides a trade platform whereby Hong Kong service providers can showcase their professional expertise to potential Mainland clients, enabling Mainland enterprises to better understand the advantages that Hong Kong services can bring through industry upgrading and innovation. Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong (GDETO), one of the co-organisers of the event, also held a photo exhibition at the SmartHK to give Mainland residents a better understanding of Hong Kong's various developments and promoting the positive image of Hong Kong in the Mainland.
