GDETO organised “Workshop on CEPA, Mainland’s Tax and Labour Law Issues”
Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong (GDETO) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in Guangdong, and the Department of Commerce of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (GXDOC) jointly organised a “Workshop on CEPA, Mainland’s Tax and Labour Law Issues” in Nanning, Guangxi today (28 February). Mr. Albert Tang, Director of GDETO, and Ms. TAN Xiu Hong, Deputy Director-General ofGXDOC, delivered the opening. At the Workshop, officials from Division of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Region Affairs, Division of Processing Trade and Division of ASEAN Affairs of GXDOC, professionals from the PricewaterhouseCoopers and King&Wood Mallesons shared with the audience the latest development on CEPA in GX , the administrative review mechanism for tax dispute in Mainland, and interpretation and analysis of the upcoming revision of the Mainland Labour Law, as well as case studies of Labour Law respectively. Speakers also answered questions from the attending business representatives. The Workshop has been attended by over 110 representatives from HK-invested enterprises in Guangxi.
