GDETO organizes exhibition in CISMEF in Guangzhou
The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong (GDETO) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region organised the Hong Kong Exhibition in the 12th China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (CISMEF) in Guangzhou from 10 to 13 October.
Trade and business sectors of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council have actively participated in CISMEF in Guangzhou every year. This year, to tie in with the implementation of the Liberalisation of Trade in Services between Guangdong and Hong Kong and the 'One Belt, One Road' Strategy of the Central Government, GDETO has for the first time organized the Hong Kong Exhibition in CISMEF to introduce to Mainland and overseas visitors Hong Kong’s role to complement the "Belt and Road" strategy and Hong Kong’s strengths in finance, maritime, legal and various professional services as well as commerce and trade, and tourism.
Extensive use of photos, 3-D exhibits and promotional videos in the Hong Kong Exhibition also showcases Hong Kong's exciting city landscape and its vibrancy as an international metropolis.
The 12th CISMEF is co-organised by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, State Administration for Industry and Commerce, People's Government of Guangdong Province and Ministry of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia.
