GDETO organised the “Seminar on Latest Policies and Practice of E-commerce” in Guangzhou

Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong (GDETO) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region organised the “Seminar on Latest Policies and Practice of E-commerce” in Guangzhou today (July 12) with Productivity (Guangzhou) Consulting Co., Ltd. and Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in China-Guangdong as the supporting organisations.

At the beginning of the seminar, Mr Albert Tang, Director of GDETO, delivered the opening remark. Cheng Xueyang, deputy director of the e-commerce section of the Department of Commerce of Guangdong, Rebecca Wong, partner of the Price Waterhouse Coopers, Benny Chan, Consultant of the Hong Kong Productivity Council and Angus Chan, founder and CEO of the Surepromise Company,these professionals introduced the implementation scheme of Guangdong province to develop e-commerce to speed up the new impetus of economic programs, tax issues and strategy on the e-commerce, and shared experience with the audience respectively. Speakers also answered questions from the participating trade representatives. The workshop attracted over 100 trade representatives to attend.
