GDETO organised the “2017 Workshop on Mainland’s Tax Policies” in Guangzhou
Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong (GDETO) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region organised the “2017 Workshop on Mainland’s Tax Policies” in Guangzhou today (November 16).
Mr Albert Tang, Director of GDETO, delivered the opening remark at the Workshop. Four experts from PriceWaterhouseCoopers, namely Mr Cyrus Lu, Director of Capital Project & Infrastructure Priority Services, Mr Chen Gang, Partner of China Tax & Business Advisory Services, Mr Syd Lin, Director of Tax and China Business Advisory Services, and Ms Monica Xu, Director of Global Mobility Services, delivered talks on “The Belt and Road Initiative: Opportunities and Prospects for Hong Kong Enterprises”, “A Different Horizon for Hong Kong Enterprises under China's Tax Reform”, “How R&D Incentives Manage Tax Burden Effectively?”, as well as “Tax Risks and Administration Tips under the CRS Regime”. The Workshop was attended by about 120 representatives from HK-invested enterprises in Guangdong.
