Free Legal Advisory Service
The Free Legal Advisory Service (FLAS) provided by GDETO renders preliminary legal advices on Mainland laws to Hong Kong residents. The FLAS does not cover follow-up on individual assistance cases and the service is provided in Chinese only.
For the period of April 2024 to March 2025, GDETO has commissioned the Mainland China Consultation Services Centre of the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions to provide FLAS in the cities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan and Zhongshan.
Hong Kong residents can call the FLAS hotlines to seek advices on Mainland laws or to meet the duty lawyer by appointment.

Duty lawyer service hours:
Tuesday & Friday: 2pm to 6pm
